DHH is a career transition services organization whose mission is to provide career resources for job seekers. Our experienced,high-level professionals will assist you by offering guidance, HR and counseling services, and support to help you achieve professional success. We also provide personal and emotional support helping you find a new confidence and energy for the journey. Along the way, our team is your mentor - giving you encouragement and HOPE as we champion your achievements! We look forward to meeting you.

History of HOPE

In 2009 after a second job transition, the beginning chapter of Discover HOPE Here was founded as H.O.P.E. Ministry at St. Ferdinand Parish in Cranberry Twp.  Six business and human resources professionals were recruited to provide basic services to the unemployed of the church community.  There were only 10 job seekers at that time but that number soon grew to over 50.  The team was committed to volunteering as much time and energy as possible to help the unemployed find professional success.

After nine months, the organization grew adding additional team members, adding monthly career workshops and career coaching.  It was soon apparent the church could not provide space for the growing number of job seekers.  With Fr. John Gallagher’s blessing, the volunteers began to pursue non profit status, always keeping in mind the original mission of providing services to all job seekers. 

Only two years later, the goal of becoming a non profit came to fruition. The team has grown to 26 professionals donating their gifts and talents to help job seekers find personal and professional success. There are now over 200 participants in what we call Discover HOPE Here. 

Even though the faith based ministry model and name have been left behind, DHH is still faith centered and committed to providing faith and HOPE to our job seekers. One cannot journey this course alone.  The team of Discover HOPE Here will always provide those things necessary for each person to achieve success in their personal or professional lives.

We will always be indebted to pastor and staff of St. Ferdinand Parish, for we wouldn’t be where we are today without their support and encouragement.
