John Mrdjenovich [Veteran] currently serves as the Coordinator for Veterans Discover Hope and has served in the United States Army for 6 years. Since he left active military, John has remained a strong advocate for Veterans by assisting them with the transition to civilian life and pointing them in the right direction. John has been actively involved with the American Legion for the past 10 years and has held various offices including Post Commander. Within the American Legion, John continues to serve the community and Veterans through such programs as Mentoring Youth, Student Programs, Taking care of Veterans, Emphasizing Patriotism and Honor. John has held various management positions in his career which focus on Logistics and Operations Management. Along with his diversified career, John has also taught Operations Management at Robert Morris University to graduate and undergraduate students. John possesses a Masters degree in Industrial Labor Relations from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics from St. Francis University. photo to come

Jeff Krantz serves as faculty with the University of Phoenix – Pittsburgh (since 2000) while pursuing additional work experience in educational administration and operational excellence in healthcare administration.  Most recently, Jeff was named Area Chair for Health Administration & Natural Sciences.  He has held several key management positions in the health/human services arena including that of chief executive officer, corporate planner, chief operating officer, and project manager.  He has mentored adjudicated youth and served as executive for two county-wide community health initiatives (Missouri).  He previously served as lecturer at University of Pittsburgh, adjunct faculty and guest lecturer at Southeast Missouri State University.  He has also enjoyed extensive volunteer service with many agencies including such organizations as Rotary International and United Way.  He possesses a Masters degree in Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters degree in Adult Education from Penn State University as well as dual Bachelors of Science degrees. photo to come

Adam Gubitosi [Veteran] is a decorated military veteran that has served over 21 years with the Air Force. He is a seasoned leader who has managed large cross functional organizations to success by integrating top notch leadership skills with sound process improvement and project management principles to drive top results for customers in the areas of logistics, training/education, and recruiting. Adam Gibitosi.jpg

Ty Smith is a marketing and communications professional with experience in public and private sectors. His background includes work in corporate communications, newspaper, government, and state and national associations. During Ty's career, he has won local and national awards for his corporate communications work. Ty holds a BA in Communications & Journalism from Shippensburg University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Penn State University. Ty Smith.jpg

Tom Smith [Veteran] recently completed a successful 26 year career in the US Air Force. He started his Air Force career as a carpenter serving in the Philippines, Korea, and Okinawa, Japan. Tom entered Air Force Recruiting Service in 1995 and has served in a variety of positions within recruiting to include recruiter, operations manager, recruiting school instructor supervisor and recruiting district supervisor. Most recently Tom was the Director of Standardization and Training for the 311th Recruiting Squadron, Canonsburg, PA, where he managed and provided training to a staff of 68 recruiters and 8 recruiting district supervisors. Tom retired from active Duty Air Force 1 January 2012 and is currently the Director of Veteran Staffing for the Star Transportation Group and Manager of the LinkedIn Group: Veterans of Southwestern Pennsylvania. John Furman is President of Furman & Associates which helps small businesses hire and manage staff. He is also an expert in conflict resolution. John has over 15 years experience in college enrollment and admissions. As a polished public speaker, he has given over 5,000 presentations throughout his career. John's strengths include customer service, talent management, and business ethics. He assists participants with resume review, interview skills and social media. photo to come
